Steve Jolley was born, raised and educated in Northwest Pennsylvania. After retiring he moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area with his wife and two dogs in 2012. Steve graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. It has been since his retirement that he has had the opportunity to devote all of his time to his art. Steve describes his art as simply “Modern Folk Art”, dealing mostly in woods while adding elements of nature, fibers, glass and textures.
